‘BIRDS’ FORM WORRIES MERE
LOBAMBA – Mbabane Swallows’ good form this season will make this afternoon clash a challenging and difficult one according to Platinum Stars captain Vuyo Mere.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns right full back said they are concentrated on the task at hand and were hoping for positive results. Swallows are unbeaten in the league this season and play their last match of the campaign against relegation haunted Mbabane Highlanders on Thursday.
Swallows play Platinum Stars this afternoon at Somhlolo National Stadium in a CAF Confederation Cup group B fixture. “At this stage of the competition, it’s a challenge to get points, really difficult. It’s going to be tough against Swallows, especially because they are in good form,” Mere said.
