‘BIRDS’ TO FLY VIA TURKEY ON WAY TO TUNISIA THURSDAY

MBABANE – The country’s representatives in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Cup, Mbabane Swallows will fly via Turkey on their way to Tunisia on Thursday.
The ‘Birds’ will face CS Sfaxien in the opening round of the Group stages next Saturday at Taieb Mhiri Stadium at 3pm (4pm local time).


‘Mkhonto KaShaka’ will leave the country on Thursday as they will travel by bus to Johannesburg before connecting a flight TK43 (Turkish Airlines) at OR Tambo International Airport at 6:20pm enroute to Turkey.
The red and white glamour outfit will then fly from Ataturk Airport in Istanbul to Carthage Airport in Tunis where they will jet in at 9:25am on Friday.


Senegalese match officials will handle the CAF match’s 107. Centre referee Issa SY, first assistant referee Djibril Camara and second assistant Amadou Ngom and fourth official, Dauda Gueye. The match commissioner Ahmed Auda Ahmed is from Egypt and the referee Assessor Attama Ibrahim Boureima is from Niger while the GC is Mustapha Slaoui from Morocco.


Swallows will then leave Tunisia on Sunday at 5pm, fly via Instabul and jet in at OR Tambo International Airport on Monday at 10:35am.
