MBABANE – Peter Dlamini, a police officer at Matsapha College, is the winner of the SwaziBank Cup Predict and Win competition.

This follows a draw that was conducted at the Times of Swaziland Boardroom yesterday by SwaziBank PRO Phesheya Vilakati, Executive Secretary Marketing Bonsile Fakudze and Times Sports Editor Lwazi Dlamini.

Dlamini was announced the winner of the E15 000 first prize among seven other lucky winners who correctly predicted that Young Buffaloes would be champions of the SwaziBank Cup.

When the Sports Desk broke this great news to him, he praised God and thanked the bank for affording football supporters this chance.
“God is great, God is great, he is mighty, he is the Alpha and Omega. This money came at the right time when I needed it the most as my daughter has been expelled for school fees. SwaziBank is indeed a bank with a heart and I would like to thank God first, who saw it befitting that I win this first prize money,” said Dlamini.

Asked on how he came to predict that ‘Amathole Ezinyathi’ would win, he said: “Well, I am a Leopard fan but I felt Young Buffaloes stood a great chance of winning it because they were far better than Matsapha United. They had reached Ingwenyama Cup finals and are currently doing well in the league so it was highly likely that Matsapha United could have won it,” added Dlamini.

SwaziBank PRO Phesheya Vilakati congratulated the winners and highlighted that they would be contacted to come to the bank to collect their prizes from the bank’s Managing Director, Zakhele Lukhele.
Award-winning Times of Swaziland Sports Editor Lwazi Dlamini also congratulated the winners and thanked them for participating in the competition.
