MANZINI – The magical SwaziBank Cup dubbed #Yelele brought Bhunu Mall in Manzini and the densely populated Msunduza in Mbabane to a standstill.

This was during a build-up activation yesterday across the country’s cities ahead of tomorrow’s eagerly awaited semi-final matches at the Somhlolo National Stadium. The public responded positively to the activation, turning up in numbers and answering teasing questions about the tournament from Moses ‘Mthetho’ Matsebula of the Swaziland Broadcasting and Information Services (SBIS).

Interesting questions posed by Matsebula included among others, which year was the SwaziBank Cup started? Who are the semi-finalists heading to Sundays matches? Name the three different types of savings accounts introduced by the bank and how many teams started the SwaziBank Cup.

The public were having a good laugh with some of the answers as wrong as sin. Dance group Mdoli captivated the soccer fanatics and there  was no denying the fact that even on its 14th edition, the SwaziBank Cup remains magical.

Chairman of the tournament’s Management Committee (MC) Johannes ‘Ace’ Siboza reminded soccer lovers that gates would open as early as 8am tomorrow with jam-packed soccer action starting as early as 9am with the semi-finals of the Under-20 tournament.
