‘WESLIANS’ IN EXIT SCARE
MBABANE – Manzini Wanderers are in revenge mode as they host the highly-rated National First Division side this afternoon.
Vovovo caused an upset by eliminating the maroon and white outfit, winning 4-2 in the Ingwenyama Cup last 16 recently.
While Wanderers beat Vovovo 2-0 in the 2015 instalment of the SwaziBank Cup, they would be cagey following the notable resurgence of Edwin Matsebula’s troops.
The ‘Weslians’ hope the experience of the likes of talisman, Aladeon Kola, skipper Lwazi ‘Shana’ Maziya, centre-back Sihle Mkhonta and striker Mfanafuthi ‘Taribo’ Bhembe, will come in handy.
More pressure will be on the hosts as they are in pursuit of their first SwaziBank Cup trophy following 13 unsuccessful attempts.
