MATSAPHA – Blessed is the hand that gives.Golden Foot Club brought hope to Cheshire Home in Matsapha with a E20 000 donation yesterday.

The money is part of proceeds made from February 27, 2017 edition of the Golden Foot Tuff One half marathon held in Zakhele, Manzini. The athletics club has adopted the home which houses people living with different disabilities.

Currently, the home which was established in 1986 takes care of up to 30 people and it is under the patronage of Inkhosikati LaNtentesa.
Leonard Cheshire Home Board of Directors representative, Themba Dlamini said they were happy with the growing partnership between Golden Foot and sponsors like Total Swaziland as it will help the home take care of the ever growing numbers that come for rehabilitation.

“The government subvention falls short and with people flocking in, such donations will go a long way in helping the home,” Dlamini said while assuring the business community and individuals that their financial records were audited annually and were clean.
“Integrity, honesty and respect governs our operations,” he said.

Anthony Siebert, Total Swaziland’s Managing Director said giving to the home was a medicine that heals. He promised that his company will continue giving to good courses and assured their prolonged support to Golden Foot Club in next events.  Club founder Tokky Hou added that they were excited to be part of the home and appreciated the support received from sponsors.
