MBABANE – Despite that there was no increment from this year’s SwaziBank Under 20 tournament sponsorship package, the first prize money has been increased from E30 000 to E35 000.

This was revealed by the PLS executive member Sicelo Mkhonta who thanked the bank for their continued support.
The fourth edition will be sponsored to a tune of E200 000 which shows a zero per cent increase as last year it was the same amount.

The tournament started in 2014 in which the ‘Bank with a heart’ pumped in E170 000. The following year it increased by E10 000 and in 2016 went to E200 000. The runners will pocket home E15 000 while in the individual awards categories, the player of the series will take home E3 000 with the top goal scorer and best goalkeeper entitled to E2000 each.

The draw was conducted at SwaziBank auditorium by PLS Development officer Banele Masondo, Miss Freshers Kwaluseni Temakhokhosi Mndzebele and Miss Tourism Swaziland Nadia Nascimento.

Below is how the teams have been drawn. They will have been grouped into four groups.
The tournament was won by Young Buffaloes last year while the previous edition was claimed by Mbabane Swallows with Manzini Sundowns winning the inaugural edition in 2014.
