E30 000 FOR TIMES/SWAZIBANK ‘PREDICT-THE-CHAMPS’ COMPETITION

MBABANE – Football lovers will stand a chance to win themselves cash prizes worth up to E30 000 for correctly predicting the winner of this year’s SwaziBank Cup edition.

This was revealed by SwaziBank PRO Phesheya Vilakati in a press statement yesterday.
“SwaziBank, in collaboration with the Times of Swaziland, will be running the Predict-the-Champions competition. The competition starts today and ends on Wednesday 26 April 2017,” said Vilakati.

According to the SwaziBank PRO, the competition is aimed at giving the public a chance to win themselves great cash prizes in the SwaziBank Cup tournament. “The competition is sponsored to the tune of E30 000, with the first, second and third prizes being E15 000, E7 500 and E5 000 cash, respectively. Five people will win a cash consolation prize of E500 each,” he added.

The public is advised that only original newspaper entries will be accepted, and SwaziBank and Times of Swaziland employees are not eligible to enter the competition. Entries can be dropped off at any Times of Swaziland office or any SwaziBank branch convenient to the participant. The prize draw will be held soon after the finals of the tournament. Times of Swaziland Sports Editor Lwazi Dlamini thanked the people’s bank, SwaziBank for supporting the competition with the cash incentive.

“Our marriage with SwaziBank has grown from strength to strength since the tournament started in 2004 and we are grateful to SwaziBank for the support. This is an opportunity for our loyal readers to win cash prizes for themselves by participating in the Predict the winner competition,’ Dlamini said.

There are eight teams which have qualified to the quarter-finals of this year’s edition dubbed #Yelele namely; Young Buffaloes, Manzini Sundowns, Midas City, Vovovo, Matsapha United, Mbabane Highlanders, Tambuti and Manzini Wanderers.
