MBABANE – When Green Mamba reached the finals of the SwaziBank last year, the man in charge of the Correctional Services side was Herbert Maruwa.

Maruwa’s charges back then gave a gallant performance against 2016 eventual champions Mbabane Swallows, unfortunately they lost 1-2.
Fast forward to 2017, the Zimbabwean mentor was roped in as Mbabane Highlanders mentor after he parted ways with his previous employers.
The question on every’s football lover’s lips is; can he lead the capital city giants to the finals and win the 14th edition of the #Yelele dubbed cup.

The Sports Desk contacted him yesterday on his take on their upcoming Sunday last 16 clash with unpredictable Manzini Sea Birds.
“As a coach, I am dreaming of appearing in the finals of this cup for a second time in a row. The team is ready for this match as we have been hard at training throughout the week. Fortunately, I have a full squad as I have an injury-free squad and I am hoping it remains that way until match day,” said Maruwa.

The mentor, however, said they wanted to take it one game at a time.
“This is going to be a tough game Sea Birds are a good team and we must guard against complacency. It’s good to dream but we do not want to put the players under pressure as we want to focus on one game at time, right after then, we can see what happen next,” added Maruwa.
