UNISWA HOSTS TAEKWONDO CHAMPS

MBABANE – In readiness for next month’s Intervarsity Games, UNISWA will host Taekwondo Championships tomorrow.


Swaziland Taekwondo Association (STAss) with the University of Swaziland (UNISWA) Club are working together to help the locals thrive in the games to involve fighters from their Botswana and Lesotho counterparts. STAss General Secretary Sandile Mchunu said the event will be held at Luyengo multipurpose hall. 


Meanwhile, Manzini Nazarene was top of the standings following the Round Two of the Mnazzy Championships Series. This was the first series of three coming up in the next couple of weeks. The association is looking at selecting the best team to be groomed for the next Olympic Games in 2020.


Winners in the Mnazzy Championships Series will be determined by the points accumulated in each edition of the championships. In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided by the result of a head-to-head bout.
