MATSAPHA – The long wait is finally over as the 14th edition of the SwaziBank Cup gets underway this Friday.

‘#Yelele’ is the latest slogan for this year’s edition, which can translate to mean ‘Woe unto you or it is upon you’ and yes it is now upon the 32 clubs that were drawn against each other yesterday.

In yet another glittering launch at Summerfield Botanical Gardens, the draw saw the seeded big three teams; Mbabane Highlanders, Mbabane Swallows and Manzini Wanderers get relatively easy draws - on paper.

Highlanders will start against Shiselweni Super League side Hlathikhulu Tycoons, champions Swallows are up against First Division basement side Ludzeludze Brothers while Wanderers take on Hhohho Super League outfit 19 Celtics.
It is anticipated the big three will only play their games on Sunday in the much-anticipated grand opening at Somhlolo National Stadium.

There are two interesting fixtures in the draw. First is the match-up between an unpredictable Royal Leopard against tricky First Division side Amalanda.
One that is certainly a must-watch is the crunch clash between First Division leaders Matsapha United and their tough rivals Mbabane Citizen.     There is more than meets the eye on this one given the two clubs’ leadership - more about settling the score here with both having links to Highlanders.
