MATSAPHA – Madinda Ndlovu has stoked up the fire ahead of Saturday’s CAF Confederations Cup second leg match against high flying Mbabane Swallows.

The Zimbabwean-born mentor, who is still reeling from last Saturday’s shock 0-1 loss to the Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati coached side, has openly laid at the club by questioning their super status.

Swallows have gone 26 games without a defeat, winning 25 of those games, including the famous win in Francistown last weekend.
But Ndlovu believes that documented success for the capital city giants was overrated.

He made the comments yesterday during a wide ranging one on one interview at Esibayeni Lodge with the Sports Desk.
“You may deem them as the best team in the land but to us they are like any average team. I have played very strong opponents. They are not a super team; they should not think when they are dominating the local scene they can conquer Africa, this is CAF tournament we talking about, 0-1 loss is nothing,” said Ndlovu.

The three times league winning coach further likened their situation to Barcelona who lost 0-4 to PSG in the UEFA Champions league on Tuesday.
“Swallows can celebrate the 1-0 victory but for us we have put those results behind us. We are cooking something new ahead of the Saturday’s second leg clash and I am very positive that we can score three or more goals and advance to the next stage,” added the former Township Rollers coach.

When asked if he had no injuries in his squad, he was reluctant to comment.
