MBABANE – With Young Buffaloes reclaiming the top spot and on form in the Esibayeni Lodge under-17 League, surely every opponent will up their game when they play the army side.

This weekend they face-off with struggling Moneni Pirates at Trade Fair Ground. Pirates, since the start of the league, have not been doing well and midweek games were no exception as they lost 2-3 to on form Green Mamba.

They would want to salvage at least a draw or three points from the army side that cruised past Red Lions 3-1 on Tuesday.
Another interesting encounter will see second-placed Wanderers lock horns with lukewarm Tambuti at the same venue at 11:30am.

The Weslians are still within reach to leapfrog Buffs at the summit of the E200 000 sponsored league as they are behind by only three points.
Mbabane Swallows, who are back to their winning ways, having brushed Royal Leopard 3-2 on Tuesday, would not want Red Lions to dampen their spirit when they meet at Somhlolo National Stadium at 12:30am while Mbabane Highlanders will face Manzini Sea Birds.

Green Mamba will have themselves to blame if they lose against Midas City who were beaten by Royal Leopard 11-0 over the weekend.
Manzini Wanderers coach Percy Shongwe said he has not lost hope of regaining the top spot.

“Look, we have been log leaders for the past seven games, we were unbeaten and Buffs were behind us.
“We can reclaim the top spot and win the league for the first time. I believe we have what it takes to win the league,” said Shongwe.
