MBABANE – With showers sweeping through the country- thank God after persistent drought in the past two years, it is also raining goals in the invigorating Ingwenyama Cup.

To date, with two games before the final, 103 goals have been scored. Nigeria-born Tambuti striker Ugochukwu Ohakwe stands a real chance to dislodge Mfan’fikile ‘Fash’ Ndzimandze at the summit of the tournament’s top scorers chart as he helped his side brush aside struggling giants Mbabane Highlanders to get passage to Sunday’s semi finals.

Ohakwe was on target at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium in Nhlangano to take his tally for the tournament to five, and two adrift ‘Fash’ who could not help his side Moneni Pirates as they were sent crashing out by Manzini Sundowns on Sunday by a Darren ‘Dazza’ Christie solitary strike, his first of the tournament.

The ultimate top scorer will pocket E10 000. The prize was won by Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa last season. The Mbabane Swallows man is no far off though, having scored a collective three goals thus far alongside teammate Wonder ‘Samba Jive’ Nhleko and both have the opportunity to add on their respective tallies when they face off with Sundowns in the last four.

A whopping 67 goals were scored in the opening round of the games, 26 in the last 16 batch of matches and 10 in the quarter-finals this past weekend.
