DWALENI – The battle for silverware in the Swazi Motocross Championship is going down to the wire.

With two rounds to spare, leaders in most of the classes had mixed fortunes as the rest of the riders came to the party during round three of event at Exodus MX Track outside Dwaleni yesterday.  Keona Sales, who is playing catch up to Phoebe Garrell in the girls’ beginners (Support 50 Bikes) class, was on top after heat one of three. The latter was on 60 points while Keona’s tally was 40 before the race.

Dylan Kirk with 28 points cruised in heat one of the PRO 65 Bikes class while Cahil Mamba, Caleb Young, Bruce Sales and Tre` Henwood, also had spectators eating out of the palm of their hands after leaving a mark in their respective divisions.
At the time of compiling this report, action was still underway.

While most of the youngsters were unlucky on the muddy terrain following a few tumbles, a majority dusted them off and continued with what they know best.
Meanwhile, the course headlined by the big jumps was extended to pass through a nearby bush. Yesterday’s festivities were sponsored by Augusta Enterprises.
