SA CELTIC FAILED FELIX, ‘SIKHALI’, SAYS ‘KOKI’

MBABANE – ‘Felix is a brilliant and very technical player who just fits well in our game’ was part of South Africa’s PSL side Bloemfontein Celtic’s Coach Serame Letsoaka’s opinion – but this was before Celtic shockingly declared that they failed the trials.

This has seen the PSL side come under fire from the duo’s coach at Mbabane Swallows, Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati. The temperamental coach has told Kick Off.com that Celtic failed the players and not the other way round.
It was the Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco who was quoted saying ‘they are not what we are looking for’ just two days after Serame had praised them as very good players.

Vilakati is content that these are quality players, but Serame must have wanted a certain calibre under his leadership. He was of the view that they probably did not fit his playing style and could play for any PSL team.
Nonetheless, he welcomed them back into the Swallows family as they prepare for the Swazi Telecom Charity Cup next weekend.

“This is not the end of the world. They should be strong and focussed,” he urged the stars.
He also suggested that there was more than meets the eye in the duo missing out on earning contracts at Celtic. Speculation is rife from the red and white camp that it was money matters as the two clubs exchanged figures over the players.
However, Vilakati said; “I repeat, they did not fail. These days, politics are involved in football whereby agents play dirty games over the transfer of players.”

In response to these claims, Celtic’s Media Officer Sello Nduna said they were not bad players, but only that they were not better than what they already had at their disposal.
