KWALUSENI – By just purchasing several goods at any of the SaveMor stores, 12 customers have won themselves an all-catered for trip to tomorrow’s eagerly awaited Soweto derby.

The winners were presented with hampers at the Kwaluseni branch by SaveMor Director Lincoln Motsa ahead of the trip to Johannesburg. Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs, arguably one of the biggest and most watched derby football games in the continent, will clash head-on in the annual Carling Black Label Cup at the 90 000-seater FNB Stadium.

SaveMor has spread supermarket stores across the country, mainly in the densely populated Matsapha and surrounding areas. The store’s General Manager Robert Khumalo said this was their way of giving back to the community. He thank

ed their different suppliers like Southern Trading and Swaziland Beverages for buying into the idea by providing hampers for the travelling fans.
He announced that there was an ongoing competition where customers qualify for a raffle draw to win a wheelbarrow and E250 worth groceries by just purchasing 10kg Umsebe rice, 2kg Maq washing powder and 750ml Maq dish washing liquid.

Speaking on behalf of the winners, Christian Thwala said they were grateful to the stores and wished they can continue with the initiative- possibly extend their hand to rural areas.
