DECEMBER TOUGH, EVASIVE - SUPPORTER

MANZINI – A supporter of Moneni Pirates described his team’s boss December Mavimbela as a tough and evasive man.

This was during the team’s short supporters’ meeting at the Manzini Library which was, however, well attended.
The supporter, who Mavimbela had pointed to speak after his hand was up, told the boss perhaps he was never lost to take over Pirates.

“Our MD is a tough man, very tough and very smart you can tell he is from town, perhaps that is why he’s even at Pirates. What I am saying is that he can hear what we say now, but once we leave this room, he will ignore us and do things his way,” said the supporter, who had everyone in stitches.

Mavimbela politely assured the supporter that his tsotsi (ingenuity in this context) ways are nothing new as even in the Bible there were people who used their ingenuity to prosper.
“Like those people the Bible talks about, I have heard you but when I act, I have to apply my ingenuity so that I’m certain what I’m doing,” he responded. He assured the supporters their cries were heard and will be addressed soon.
