BAFANA, WILLARD SHINE IN SRIC BUSINESS LEAGUE

 MBABANE – Seasoned golfers, Willard Mkhwanazi and Bafana Hlophe, from Royal Swaziland Police (RSP), are the champions of this month’s tournament of the SRIC Business League.

The pair carded 47 points in the event played over 18 holes yesterday. Golf enthusiasts took to the Royal Swazi Golf Course for the June instalment of the tournament sponsored by the Swaziland Royal Insurance Corporation to a tune of E120 000.
Hlophe, interviewed afterwards, said he always had a deadly combination with Mkhwanazi, expressing his delight to partner with the latter for the first time in the league.

“We just had a flawless run as we did not struggle in any of the holes,” said Hlophe.
Also leaving a mark were Welcome Mhlanga and Sipho Mahlalela, who shone in the novelties.
League Coordinator, Banele Mtetwa, lauded the giant insurance company for the support, saying SRIC’s contribution in sport, as a whole, was commendable.

The winners got fabulous prizes that included electrical appliances and Dstv decoders.
The prize for the champions was valued at E1 000. Winning in the past month were Mndeni Shabangu and Sibusiso Motsa, who were representing Team Swaziland Golf Union.
