ATHLETES SIFISO, WINILE OFF TO MOZ

MBABANE – Winile Mnisi and Sifiso Sibandze will compete in the Olympic Day in Maputo, next month, after conquering the Olympic Day Run 21km yesterday.
The Olympic Day was celebrated at the Prince of Wales sports ground yesterday. Mnisi is a renowned distance runner for the Royal Swaziland Police (RSP) while Sibandze is a member at Swazi Slojos.
Sibandze, who was defending champion of the 21km race, clocked 1:09:58 hours while Mnisi crossed the finish line after 1:43:30 hours to be the ladies champion. The athletes were presented with gold medals and merchandise from the Swaziland Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (SOCGA).
