CHOICE OF PARTICIPANTS GOOD – FIFA INSTRUCTOR

LOBAMBA – Tunisia-based FIFA Instructor, Mahmoud Hammami, is happy with the diversity shown in selecting participants for the FIFA Administration and Management Course.


Hammami manned the classes which ran from Monday until yesterday at the National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS) Technical Centre in Lobamba.
The participants were from various football sectors and they  included Swaziland Football Coaches Association (SFCA) Vice Chairman, Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati, National Referees Association of Swaziland (NRAS) Chairman, Mfanukhona Kunene, Nomalungelo Gama as well as Philile Matsebula from the Premier League of Swaziland (PLS) and  Meshack Khoza from Women Football, among others.

The charismatic instructor, in his remarks during the closing ceremony, lauded the decision by the National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS) to empower its affiliates across the board.
“The participants were active and showed dedication throughout the classes,” said Hammami.
“This is just the beginning, so the participants should be able to deal with some of the complex administrative issues. Everyone has a role to play in football.”
Topic covered included Planning, Marketing, Communication, Finance and Fan Development, to mention but a few.
Officially closing the course was National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS) president, Adam ‘Bomber’ Mthethwa, who stressed on the need for the knowledge to be put into practice.
