MATSAPHA – As sponsors of the COSAFA Castle Cup, Castle, under Swaziland Beverages will be flying one sports journalist to Namibia for Sihlangu’s opening game with Zimbabwe.

The game is on June 9 in Windhoek, Namibia’s capital. The journalist was selected yesterday during a small quiz competition by Swaziland Beverages about the tournament. At least eight scribes attended and participated.

Of the eight from Channel S, Times of Swaziland and Swazi Observer, only one will make it to the tournament as the offer is for one air ticket from OR Tambo Airport on June 8. The lucky journalist will join the five super fans selected a fortnight ago from this year’s Castle Premier Challenge top eight teams.

As the test proceeded, four journalists were found to have tied as they answered seven of the eight questions on Sihlangu’s history correctly. These were the two from this newspaper and two from Swazi Observer. Following the tie, another quiz was done, this time about Lesotho’s history and there was tie of three who then did a final quiz about Zimbabwe and Botswana.

When the results were brought back, there was finally no tie but the winner was not announced. Instead, it was said the winner would be called and notified later yesterday or this morning.
