MANZINI – Retired Royal Swaziland Police (RSP) Service Deputy Commissioner and Royal Leopard long-serving Chairman Khisimusi Ndlovu, has been honoured by the security forces side.

National Commissioner of Police Isaac Magagula named Ndlovu the side’s lifetime patron during a ceremony meant to honour the retiring senior officers that included Sipho Dlamini, who also deputised for Magagula at Mavuso Sports Centre yesterday.

“We have pleasure today to offer and confer on Mr. Ndlovu a Certificate of Lifetime Patronship for a sterling role in stewarding Leopard to great heights,” said Magagula.
“We trust this gesture will not only be cherished but will inspire him to continue to be supportive and give advice to the team whenever such is sought.”

The police boss stressed that Ndlovu should walk tall as he was part of the structure that guided the blue and white outfit to silverware, especially the current back-to-back treble of league titles.

A grateful Ndlovu who thanked the gesture allayed fears he had turned his back from the police outfit after unconfirmed reports that he was back with his childhood team, Manzini Wanderers.

“Wanderers have not approached me,” he said.
“I’ve achieved so much at Leopard and some of the players have been asking me to come back.”
