MANZINI – Green Mamba coach, Hebert Maruwa, has praised opponents’ Ludzeludze Young Brothers for showing character on Saturday.

The security forces ensemble had to be at their best to outwit the National First Division side by 2-0 in a SwaziBank Cup last 32 clash played at Manzini Club.  Maruwa said Brothers showed great improvement as compared to the last meeting during the Ingwenyama Cup last 16. Green Mamba had won 4-0.

“Brothers deserve credit. They have played better today,” said Maruwa.
“Anyway is a cup game, so what a matter is that we’ve managed to go through to the next round. There is no looking back from here.”

Meanwhile Brothers coach, Msizi Thwala, said his charges’ morale was killed by the second goal as it came at a time when they were fighting to restore parity.
“We put ourselves under pressure in the first half and respected the opposition. We played better in the second half until we conceded the second goal.”
The two sides last met in the SwaziBank Cup in 2014 in the same round. Green Mamba narrowly won 2-1.
