MATSAPHA – Just as their slogan goes; ‘The Way It Is’, Way Inn lived up to it when they were crowned Police College Pool Teams Knockout champions again on Saturday evening at the Police College.

They were simply unstoppable despite strong opposition since the last 16 to the final where they outplayed Hub Giants in a 13-11 victory to win the tournament for the second time in its two editions.
They went past league champions Jay Zee in the last 16, PDX in quarters, Police College in semis and Hub Giants in the final. They are now E2 500 richer but the prize presentation is set for a later date yet to be confirmed.

Hub Giants will receive E1 500 for coming second while third-place finishers Vuya Vuya will get E1 000. There are also prizes for fourth to eighth ranging from E500 down to E150.
Manzini Regional Pool Association (MRPA) Chairman Muntu Dlamini said teams would be informed of the prize presentation.
He said it was set to be a double presentation as they would also reward the MRPA League winners where Jay Zee are the champions, Super Eagles runners-up while Way Inn finished third.
