MBABANE – Parliament is impressed with the national team, Sihlangu current performance.

Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Principal Secretary Prince Mlayeto said the Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga-led side was making everybody happy.

He said this when he bade the team farewell before leaving the country for Djibouti where they are to play the 2018 FIFA World Cup first leg qualifiers.
“The team has been good recently and Parliament is impressed with the performance and they hope that it continues with the good results. It is the country’s dream to see the team competing in the 2018 World Cup in Russia,” he said.

Sihlangu left the country yesterday by road to connect a flight in Johannesburg to Ethiopia.

They will fly the whole night as they are expected to land in Djibouti at around 10am.
The National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS) President Bomber Mthethwa said they were happy with the support they were receiving from government.

“The government is committed in supporting the team and everyone is happy. We are confident that they will go to Djibouti and make the country proud,” he said.
