MBABANE – As the external exams have resumed for JC and Form V pupils, PLS Chairman Victor ‘Maradona’ Gamedze has wished all those writing the exams the best of luck.

He has since announced the suspension of the Esibayeni Lodge Under-17 League games as of this weekend until they resume on November 14, which is after the exams.

Speaking through PLS Development PRO Dumsani ‘DU’ Sibandze, he said it was important that they kept their promise to the parents that during this time, games would not be played.

“The chairman says good luck to all writing pupils in the country in JC and Form V, in particular, the players in the PLS and Esibayeni Lodge Under-17 League.
He had promised when this was launched that the players would be given the time to study and focus on exams,” Sibandze said.

Thanked

He said Gamedze and Esibayeni Lodge jointly thanked parents and guardians of the players they were developing in the Under-17 League for showing their support by allowing the children to play football.

He said as a parent himself, he understands that when it is exam time, all parents want their children to fully focus, which is why the games will be suspended until after this period.

He said the league was progressing smoothly and the players were showing a lot of enthusiasm, all because they also had the support of their parents.
