MBABANE – Pigg’s Peak Black Swallows have mourned the death of the club’s Co-director Bhekani Motsa last week.

The experienced administrator died last Thursday and will be laid to rest tomorrow at Luhlangotsini, Nkomanzi/Dryhoek.
The club Chairman, Charles Matsebula, said they have lost a great administrator who has contributed a lot in local football from his days at Pigg’s Peak Bush Bucks.

“He was a rare breed of an administrator, who was never bothered about the limelight, but his contribution was equal to none. We are still shocked as a team and we pass our profound condolences to his family. We pray that God may grant them strength in this hour of grief,” he said.

Rise

Matsebula said the deceased played a crucial role in Black Swallows’ rise in local football in the past three seasons, where they reached the semi-finals of the SwaziBank Cup and also became the first team from the National First Division League to feature in the annual Swazi Telecom Charity Cup in 2012.

“I have lost a soldier, a source of inspiration and local football will be poorer without him.
A memorial service in his honour will be held at MDS Hall today at 2pm.
