MHLUSHWA – As preseason continues, Mbabane Highlanders’ friendly games in the Schoemansdal Municipal Mayoral Cup produced no wins for the black and white ensemble.

Highlanders played two games at Mhlushwa Stadium which was packed to the brim as South Africans and over 50 Highlanders fans watched the games.

Among the crowd was Highlanders Patrons Chairman Isaac Shabangu.
Parading a host of aspiring players, Highlanders first played Real Caps which has just been promoted to the Vodacom League and were held to a 1-all draw.

Scoring for them was second half substitute Lungelo Tsabedze.
The second match saw the Highlanders technical bench, led by head coach Meck Mwase, go for the regular players which improved their performance and the crowd loved them against Junior Aces who also proved to be a good side.

The match ended 2-all as Highlanders needed a late equaliser from South African winger Patrick Menso.
They also anticipate to host Junior Aces in the next few weeks before the league season kicks off.
