MBABANE – Capital city giants Mbabane Highlanders will date defending champions Green Mamba in the opening matches of the Castle Lager Premier Challenge.

The 2015 Castle Challenge will be the third edition. The inaugural tournament was won by Mbabane Swallows, beating Malanti Chiefs in a two legged final while Green Mamba was the last team standing in the 2014 edition.

Premier League of Swaziland (PLS) Chief Executive Officer John Mazibuko confirmed that nothing will change in the nature of the draw where the top team play the bottom team from the previous league standing respectively.

Police ensemble and league defending champions Royal Leopard will clash with Malanti Chiefs with Mbabane Swallows facing Ernest Mavuso’s Red Lions. In the other epic clash, Young Buffaloes will entertain Manzini Sundowns.

Swaziland Beverages Operations Manager Meshack Maseko said after their meeting with the PLS, a tentative date for the launch has been set but it was subject to confirmation next week.

“We have our tentative date for the launch but we are working on some logistics. Details that include the sponsorship package and kick-off dates will be announced at the launch,” Maseko said.
