REBECCA MALOPE TO PERFORM AT CHARITY CUP ROADSHOW

MBABANE – Celebrated South African gospel artist Rebecca Malope will thrill spectators during the Swazi Telecom Charity Cup roadshow tomorrow.

The roadshow, which will be held in Manzini, starting at 9am, will also feature local artists in Shongwe and Khuphuka Saved Group of ‘Konkhe kuhamba kahle’ fame and local rap group Chakalaka.
The roadshow will be staged at the Jubilee Park, starting with a march from the Manzini City Council offices, according to tournament Public Relations Officer Donatus ‘Nkonotja’ Zwane.

The radio man also mentioned that there will be a surprise appearance on the day by a reputable South African artist.
“We invite the nation to converge at Manzini Jubilee Park on Saturday for the first roadshow of the 2015 Charity Cup. Local acts, Shongwe and Chakalaka, alongside a surprise appearance by a South African artist, will perform on the day.   

“Stalls will be pitched on the day where fans can vote for their favourite teams on the spot. We encourage teams to vote early to avoid the last minute photo-finish,” Zwane said.
He mentioned that those in attendance will win ample prizes and encouraged teams to bring at least six of their players alongside their captain.
