MBABANE – Confident Mbabane Swallows players believe they have a chance of upsetting the apple cart when they meet South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.

The two teams clash head-on in the first semi-final in the inaugural King’s Super Cup at Somhlolo National Stadium.
To show their seriousness ahead of the historical tournament, the red and white glamour giants were sweating it out at their training base, the Prince of Wales yesterday morning.

Interviewed after the gruelling two-hour session, most of the team’s players said they were not intimidated at facing one of South Africa’s most successful teams in Chiefs.
Team trainer Siyabonga Bhembe also echoed the players, saying they had played against Kaizer Chiefs before and were ready to match them pound for pound.

“We have to strive to play our normal game. This is one of the self motivating games and the spirit is high. Every player wants to play and I am sure that given a chance, no one would want to disappoint. The nation should come in numbers to support us, because we will be playing at home and we need to feel their presence.

“We are obviously going to take this game seriously because it is our target to reach the final. Once we are in the final of the tournament, anything can happen,” he said.
