LOBAMBA – National First Division League ensemble Tambuti FC were the lucky side yesterday as the Deputy Prime Minister (DPM), Paul Dlamini, handed them their first vote.

Dlamini, who was the guest of honour during the launch of this year’s Swazi Telecom Charity Cup Spectacular, was given the opportunity to cast his vote through the internet by the MC, Nqobile Magagula, during the event held at Somhlolo National Stadium.

This happened shortly after the DPM had delivered his key note address. As the gathering, which included Minister Prince Hlangusemphi, Swaziland Post and Telecommunications Corporation (SPTC) Board members,  National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS) President Adam ‘Bomber’ Mthethwa, Premier League of Swaziland (PLS) Chairman Victor Gamedze and team representatives, to mention a few, held their breath in anticipation, as Dlamini prepared to cast the vote.  To the disappointment of many, he opted for the unfashionable First Division team.
