NINA EHLEN NETS MORE THAN E18 000 IN SWAZI WARRIOR

SIMUNYE – German born Ezulwini resident Nina Ehlen walked away E18 990 richer from the arduous Swazi Warrior fitness challenge.

She won herself E16 190 worth of accommodation vouchers to spend at Simunye Country Club while E2 800 was cash.

The energy-sapping adventure, that was a true test of wits for fitness fanatics, was staged by the Simunye Country Club on Saturday and attended by 95 contestants.

Swaziland’s toughest woman said she was only happy to have had an adrenalin rush.
“It was a big challenge but you just have to keep a steady pace and focus on finishing. It was very hard and the Swamp Challenge was the toughest because it took your breath and the tire would get heavy after going under water. All I can say about winning is that my adrenalin was pumping throughout and carried me through. I’m glad I had an adrenalin rush.”
