MBABANE – Sihlangu coach Harris ‘Madze’ Bulunga will engage in a massive tactical battle with former Paris St Germain (PSG) Coach Luis Fernandez when the team face Guinea in two weeks time.

Sihlangu will face Guinea in the first leg game on June 12 in a neutral venue in Morocco and Fernandez is a former player for Spanish clubs Athletic Bilbao, Espanyol and Real Betis.

He had two spells as PSG coach, from 1994 to 1996 and he was back in 2000 to 2003.
Fernandez, who has spent the last years as a high-profile radio pundit in France, takes over from Michel Dussuyer, who departed the job despite Guinea reaching the quarter-final of the Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea in January.

He was confirmed as the new coach of Guinea on Tuesday.
The former French international has signed a 20-month contract, with an option for an extension, a statement from the Guinea Football Federation (Feguifoot) said.

He will take charge of bids to qualify for the 2017 African Nations Cup in Gabon and the World Cup in Russia in 2018.
Fernandez’s last job was as a national coach of Israel.

Sihlangu, led by ‘Madze’, will be heading to the game with their heads held high after winning two games in the recent COSAFA Cup in South Africa. The team beat Tanzania 1-0, Lesotho 2-0 and settled for a 1-all draw against Madagascar but couldn’t reach the quarter-finals.
Bulunga said the next assignment was against Guinea in the 2017 Afcon qualifiers.
