KWAMAGOGO 10KM RACE ON JUNE 20

MBABANE – Athletes will strike it rich in the annual KwaMagogo Number 43 Trelawney Park 10km legacy run and walk.
The race will be held on June 20 Trelawney Park, Manzini starting at 6:30am.


The winner of the 10km race will take home E1 500 in both male and females categories while the runners-up will get E1 000 with the third finishers receiving E800.


Fourth-placed finisher will get E400 with the fifth positioned getting E250. There are special gold and silver medals to commemorate 50 years and bronze medals for runners who will complete the race within an hour.


Athletes will pay E60 registration fee. The athletes will receive a free T-shirt after the race. Registration will be held on June 19 (day before the event).
Correctional Services athlete Mthobisi Ndwandwe successfully defended the championship last year having won it in 2013.


The 2010 Zone VI silver medallist recorded a personal best of 28:41 minutes, which showed an improvement of two seconds to his 2014 time.
Over 400 athletes took part in last year’s event.
