RUSTENBURG – There is no doubt that Sihlangu has captured the imagination of the nation with their splendid display in the ongoing regional COSAFA Cup.

Very few would have predicted that Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga’s charges would secure two wins on the trot to surge closer to qualifying for the quarter-finals of the 14-team tournament for the first time in its new format.

Having entered the tournament as the lowest ranked country, it is indeed surprising that the squad is on the brink of quarter-final qualification.
On Wednesday evening at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace, the squad’s players once again proved that they are made of sterner stuff, as they made light work of Lesotho before beating them 2-0.
