SWALLOWS AT SUMMIT IN PLS UNDER-20 LEAGUE

MBABANE – The Premier League of Swaziland Reserve League (Under-20) log leaders Mbabane Swallows face Malanti Chiefs tomorrow afternoon.


The game will curtain raise for the MTN Premier League grand closing match between the senior teams at Somhlolo National Stadium, kick-off 5pm. This will be the ninth game in the one round fixture.


Swallows are at the top of the table with 22 points after eight games. They beat arch rivals Mbabane Highlanders 4-1 on Sunday before the second derby at Somhlolo National Stadium. They are followed by the defending champions Young Buffaloes who have 19 points after eight games. Buffaloes play RSSC United on Saturday at Mhlume Stadium, kick-off 1pm.


The fixture was released by PLS Development’s Banele Masondo yesterday.
He said their games were behind as there would be two games left after the weekend fixtures. He said they will soon also complete their league as the MTN Premier League and National First Division comes to end this weekend.


Another exciting game will be between Manzini Wanderers and Royal Leopard to be played at Manzini Trade Fair Ground on Sunday, starting at 10am. On the same day the senior teams will be facing each other in the MTN Premier League grand closing at Somhlolo National Stadium.
RSSC United who had missed almost half of their fixtures are at the bottom of the log without a point while second from the bottom are Red Lions who have four points after eight games.
