LOBAMBA – The biggest winner in yesterday’s World Dressage Challenge 2015 held at the Swazi Lizkhar stables was Team Swaziland’s Wandy Williams.

Wandy won in two categories including the biggest one of the Advanced Class competing on her horse, SL Little Wonder.
She impressed the judges on Little Wonder, who was bred at the Swazi Lizkhar, which is why the horse has the initials SL before its actual name. The judges on the day consisted President of the Ground Jury Mary Robins and Tino Kaikkolainen.

As if that was not enough for Wandy, she was also the winner of the Best Turned Out Rider horse-combination still on Little Wonder.
Winning the Preliminary Juniors Class was Lia Van Wyk on horse Jambarasca while the adult class preliminary went to Nikki Pelser riding Maestrale.
The medium class was also won by Wandy on Hakahana Aluka.

Matt Dlamini was announced as the Best Groom winner but Wandy was the overall winner in the competition whose complete results are yet to be compiled.

“It was a great show and we’ll now be completing the scores because in the end they are combined to be then compared to our competitors in the Zone 11, where we have countries like Namibia, Mauritius, Botswana and Iran,” Show Director Xuxa Taman said.

She said the events are held by each competing country with the scores then brought together to be compared to determine the winners in the Zone.
