MBABANE – Royal Leopard will be taking all their firepower and weapons of destruction to the Democratic Republic of Congo in the CAF Confederations Cup return leg match against AS Vita, carrying a 1-0 advantage.

This was the declaration made by the team’s President, National Commissioner of Police Isaac Magagula.
“No one must stand in our way. We will not allow that. The order is still the same. Mesmerise and dazzle them. We will be fearless and not be intimidated by the team and the fans. We will fight with the entire arsenal we have at our disposal. It is good to see a team from Swaziland not lose in the early stages of such competitions.”

Magagula said the team could not afford to shame the country by losing at home, and that the win was a perfect 47th birthday gift for His Majesty King Mswati III.
Meanwhile, he touched on their financial situation, pleading with those good at heart and capable to donate funds towards the team’s trip as it was getting costly with each game in the competition.

His words were echoed by Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs David ‘Cruiser’ Ngcamphalala in a separate interview.
He urged the nation to give financial and spiritual support to the team.
He said the great run by Leopard proved that the standard of Swazi football was at a high level.
