MBABANE – Darlings of football lovers Royal Leopard have won the trust of local and international coaches with their great showing in the CAF Confederations Cup.

The coaches, speaking in separate interviews, testified that they viewed Leopard as favourites to pip AS Vita away in DRC and progress further into the play-offs.

One North African gaffer remarked that Leopard were now fearless regardless of who came across them.
They also concurred that the local heroes, who beat AS Vita 1-0 at Somhlolo National Stadium on Saturday, were the dominant team.
What they said:

Charles Bwale

“They have been doing quite fine and it is a great thing for Swaziland. They have proved that they are fearless and not intimidated by the status of the opposition they face. Their chances are high. They can go as far the group stages. However, in DRC they must not let the crowd intimidate them.”
Gcina ‘Magiyane’ Dlamini

Leopard played so well. They are showing good tactical elements which they have gained with each game, which are key to success in Africa, and such has elevated their confidence. They are capable of a win in DRC. They are the better team against any team they play.”
Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati

“They have played well. Leopard are strong and they need to be mentally strong for success in DRC. It will be one field, and the home team will be under pressure.
