LOBAMBA – Prince Masitsela has urged government to give Sihlangu more money so that they can improve their performance.

The prince, who was among the over 5 000 fans at Somhlolo National Stadium during the game last night, addressed the players and technical bench after the 1-3 loss against Bafana Bafana. He said the team played well despite the defeat.

“It is good to learn from your mistake and I personally think you did well today. As a nation we are proud of your performance and I hope government would increase her financial support to the team so that you can have enough time to prepare for games of this nature,” he said.

He was accompanied by Director of Sports Henry Zeeman, Under Secretary in the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Maswazi Shongwe and FA CEO Frederick Mngomezulu.

They boys played very well, we almost held them, it's only that we missed some chances of scoring goals.
