MBABANE – Well travelled South African coach Kenny Ndlazi is back in the country and doing what he does best – coaching.

He started executing his duties at National First Division League ensemble Pigg’s Peak Black Swallows on Monday. Black Swallows train at Malandalahle and at the Rocklands Stadium.

Interviewed yesterday, the shrewd strategist said he was merely helping out and looking forward to the challenge.
“There are no contracts signed. It is just an agreement I have with the team’s boss Charles (Matsebula) because we come from far with him. When they approached me for help, I said why not. We will see how it goes,” said Ndlazi.

An elated Black Swallows boss, Charles Matsebula, said they were grateful to Ndlazi for agreeing to come on board.
“We obviously cannot afford to pay the man. He is an experienced coach who has achieved much. We are so thrilled that he agreed to help until the end of the season. He has basically been given the team to run as manager/coach until the end of the season.

“What makes it so great for us is the fact that a lot of top teams were after his signature but he opted to help out here and we are delighted,” he said.
Responding to a question on whether Ndlazi had been brought in to help the team cheat the dreaded relegation axe, with six games to go, Matsebula said relegation was not a word in their vocabulary.

“As a team, we have long terms plans. It is in our ambitions to have a coach of Ndlazi’s calibre because we are in a mission to rebuild this team. Whether we are relegated this season or not should not be an issue really because we have long term plans.
