MATSAPHA – After seeing through the work started by predecessor Hlobisile Ndlovu but in his own way, Minister Ngcamphalala on Saturday marked the start of the workshop by unveiling SNSRC’s logo.

The logo was launched by the minister, who unveiled it together with the SNSRC chairman, being publicly revealed to the stakeholders for the first time.

The logo befits the name of the organisation as it is accommodative of key aspects in sports and recreation.

It has three distinctive symbols, colour coded in blue, yellow and red.

This was unpacked by SNSRC CEO Darius Dlomo.

"The blue symbol stands for ‘sports for all’, while the yellow one represents women in sport and recreation and the red one symbolises sport for people with disabilities."

Collaboration

Meanwhile, the minister told the audience that this marked a new start and what was needed was collaboration and support so as to put the past turbulent period behind and move forward.

He assured the representatives of the stakeholders that the ministry was ready to listen to their concerns and suggestions and give them thorough consideration.
