MBABANE – Police ensemble, Royal Leopard’s prolific midfielder Zweli ‘Mlilo’ Nxumalo has declared that they will pounce and win against South Africa’s Bidvest Wits on Saturday.

The police outfit host the South African side in the second leg of the Confederations Cup at Somhlolo National Stadium. Leopard trail 0-3 from the first round encounter played in Johannesburg, South Africa last weekend.
Interviewed yesterday, shortly after their afternoon training session, Nxumalo said their aim was to win the game at all costs, something that they are ready to do.

“I want to make it clear that our aim is not to overcome the 0-3 scoreline we suffered in the first leg clash because that could put us under unnecessary pressure.  We just want to go out there and play our normal game. I am positive that we will win the game.

The nation should come in numbers to support us, as we will now be representing the country and not just Leopard.
They may have beaten us in the first leg game but it is not yet over. We are focused and looking forward to winning the game,” said the gifted midfielder.

The former Umbelebele Jomo Cosmos star said he had faith that his teammates can do the job. He urged the local soccer lovers not to dare be misled by the first round defeat.
“We have to redeem our pride at all costs. That is why we have to win the game, more especially because the nation will also be expecting us to perform much better than we did away from home because this time the game will be played in our own backyard,” he said.
Nxumalo is one of the star-studded ensemble’s most influential midfielders.
