MBABANE – The Dups Swaziland National Basketball League (SNBL) has been very exciting and with around seven games to play, things are taking a turn for the better so much that one cannot wait for the resumption of the games.

Elite Men’s League (EML) has seen the dominance of Mbabane Jazz and champions Bosco Steels continue, but what has stood out has been the brilliant play by Manzini Super Stars and Mbabane Knicks.

These are the teams that are in strong contention for the title as they are favoured to make the play-offs which are played by teams that finish in the top-four.

Steels are in the lead followed closely by fierce rivals Mbabane Jazz and the two teams are close to confirming their spots in the play-offs.
Superstars and Knicks complete the top-four and by the look of things, they will secure a place in the play-offs to make it an exciting finish to the season.

It will be a gruelling fight to the finish.
Meanwhile, in the EML, Luyengo Pacers have secured promotion to the EML after going for 13 games without a loss and do not look like they will lose so they are champions in waiting.

But the fight is still not over with regard to the other promotion berth and it is between Cats and Stingers, while Manzini Raiders could be the dark horses after handing Cats their second defeat of the season in the last game.

fantastic

Stingers have been in fantastic form of late and the return of Bongani Shiba to the court has bolstered their squad.
It will be a kill or be killed when Stingers meet Cats, but if they are not careful, there are about three teams behind them that could leapfrog them.
And in the NWL, Lady Jazz are leading the standings as they seek to once again be the superior force.
