MBABANE – Four players have landed themselves in hot soup after skipping Sihlangu activities ahead of the squad’s fulltime camp on Saturday.

The four players who have gotten the Sihlangu technical bench headed by Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga hot under the collar are Manzini Sundowns goalkeeper Sandanezwe Mathabela, Mbabane Highlanders right back Sibusiso Dlamini, Green Mamba anchorman Muzi ‘Mzo’ Dlamini and his teammate Banele ‘Makonese’ Dlamini.

They are the only missing players in the 26-member squad called up by coach Bulunga to do battle against Burkina Faso in an international preparatory clash, which is slated for January 10 at Mbombela Stadium in South Africa.
Interviewed yesterday, Bulunga, while praising the majority of the players for showing up at training, said they were yet to investigate the four players’ absence.

“According to my understanding, all the players were asked on time from their respective teams.
“We expect all the players to be present at training but for the past two days, since we started, the four have not been part of the squad.
“We expect them to be training, more especially because no one informed the technical bench on their whereabouts,” the former Umbeleele Cosmos midfield maestro said.

Sihlangu’s meeting with Burkina Faso will be the second one after their first in 2012.
The game is scheduled for a 5pm kick off.
