MBABANE – This will be their third meeting in one year as they first clashed in the SwaziBank Cup, the league’s first round and then now – Highlanders have had the last laugh in the last two meetings, winning in a penalty shootout in the SwaziBank Cup before a 3-1 league win in the same venue during the first round.

They meet again this afternoon in what is expected to be a thriller as always when the two sides clash as both play exciting possession football.
They both use young, talented and skilful players blended with some experienced stars.

Highlanders have all the reason to be as ambitious as ever here after a great run in the first round, until the last game against Swallows which they lost 4-1 but have an ongoing case to decide its official result.

They are currently on second place after 11 games, three points behind leaders Royal Leopard who played a tricky tie with forces rivals Young Buffaloes last night.
There must now be some belief in the Highlanders players that they can finish anywhere but a respectable position in the end and after drawing with Manzini Sea Birds last week, they will want to win this one.

Pirates are also proving to be a hard team to beat now since Zambian coach Happy ‘Messiah’ Simfukwe took over in the last four games, losing only to Mbabane Swallows last weekend.

This is also one game in which striker Mfanufikile ‘Fash’ Ndzimandze who scored their only goal in the first round game, will once again get a chance to prove his ex-teammates he still has his scoring touch.
