MBABANE – There will be more than tries at stake when teams take part in the annual SKRUM Sevens Rugby Tournament tomorrow.

SKRUM is an initiative which aims to give the youth of Africa hope for the future and the freedom of choice in their lives through social education and the opportunity to play the game of rugby.

Chief Executive Officer, Michael Collinson said Enjabulweni Sports Ground in Manzini would be a hive of activity as this year’s festivities take centre stage, starting at 9am.
“This weekend will see players from rugby clubs from around Swaziland converge in Manzini to take part in the annual SKRUM 7’s Rugby tournament.

Celebrate

“The tournament is held each year to celebrate World Aids Day. Last year’s event was held at the University of Swaziland Sports Ground and the eventual winners were the UNISWA Titan’s,” he said.
Collinson said the competition improved each year and 2014 would be no different.
