MBABANE – Former Manzini Wanderers star striker Lwazi ‘Shumi’ Mamba will watch his National First Division side Amalanda’s tricky assignment against Tambuti from the sidelines.

This is because the speedy marksman has been nabbed by the infamous yellow card rule after accumulating three yellow cards.
Amalanda play Tambuti on Saturday at Mayaluka Stadium. Kick-off is at 4pm. Another player nabbed by the yellow card rule is Mndeni Mamba, who plays for Madlenya.

He too will watch his side’s encounter against Mbabane Citizens from the sidelines on Saturday at the Prince of Wales Ground.
According to the Premier League of Swaziland (PLS), both players are not eligible to play any part in the game. No elite league player will be serving suspension this weekend.

Last week, it was Manzini Wanderers central defender Sanele Chauke who had to miss his team’s game against MTN Premier League defending champions Royal Leopard.

The hub giants will, however, welcome the tough tackling defender back for their game against Moneni Pirates slated for the Mavuso Sports Centre on Sunday.

PLS Chief Executive Officer (CEO) John Mazibuko, on another note, disclosed that the organisation cannot try new misconduct cases before the National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS) Appeals Board issues a verdict on the issue of representation.
